Great casual atmosphere with good quality food. Good selection of flavours… Thoroughly impressed as we are usually carnivores and really enjoyed this veggie cafe. Definitely a hidden gem on the coast.

This inviting café under the H2O building opens its arms to us as a healthy haven, a pure vegetarian restaurant with lots of gluten free and vegan options. For a tiny outlay you can make a big investment in your health…beneath verdant walls embossed with autumn leaves, a sense of serenity surrounds us…

The sago pudding was delicious – smooth, creamy pearls topped with juicy mango compote.. Giri Kana is a tranquil sea of green in Southport’s concrete jungle…

The cafe has a mood of freshness and goodness, just like the beautiful, Vegetarian, healthy food on offer. Cooked on the premises each day with fresh, natural ingredients and lots of love, the delicious and mostly organic breakfasts and lunches that are served up each day, are sure to please.

I’ve been to many Hare Krishna restaurants throughout Australia and the world, but the fare here is the best.

I absolutely love this place! It is open and fresh with amazing delicious healthy food. The chef is experienced in Veg/Vegan and Gluten free gourmet foods such as Tiramisu, a variety of tasty hot dishes and salads. The tofu burger is soooo good! My kids had the Calzones and loved them too.

If you would like a quick take away meal and you’re in Southport… this is the place to go! Salads and hot food are pre made and ready to dish up (with a consistant turnover to ensure freshness) or a fresh juice or smoothie to take back to work. Alternatively if you’re not needing take away and just want to dine on the best salad ever or the best kofta balls ever!!) or to order a burger from the menu for breakfast, lunch or dinner then it is a lovely place to sit, eat and laugh over a delicious meal! Family friendly with warm and helpful staff. I’ll be back there for sure!

The cafe feels cozy and comfortable, like the perfect place to pop by for a casual and healthy lunch…The food is completely vegetarian with many vegan options, similar in style to Hare Krishna restaurants – offering a variety of salads, vegan curries, kofta balls and ridiculously good desserts and smoothies. This is definitely a place where you want to arrive hungry so that you can take full advantage of the menu.

It’s popular not only with those who follow a meat-free diet, but many who simply appreciate great food made with love and good spiritual vibes. In addition to an amazing main menu which is served at lunch and dinner, it also provides an awesome range of breakfast preparations guaranteed to kick-start your day in a healthy way. There’s a good juice bar as well and the range of sweets has to be seen to be believed.
